Singing River Services provides prevention services to Region IV in the form of school based curriculums and community based services through a Grant from the Federal Government, channeled through the State Department of Mental Health. This Grant addresses the problem of underage drinking in our region. It also provides for community education as well as school based programs to address this growing problem. We also educate merchants in the region on the laws concerning the sale of tobacco and alcohol to minors.
