The Stevens Center

logoThe Stevens Center has been offering excellent Rehabilitation and Treatment for men and women with alcohol and other drug problems for 30 years. Our professional and experienced staff use compassion and expert training to provide the best treatment for these problems. We are a 42 day residential primary facility with aftercare services which utilizes science based curriculums and 12 step programs. This type of program is designed for someone who is dependent on a substance and requires an intensive, residential level of treatment. They may have lost their job or their family. Their environment is not conducive to recovery therefore they require a level of treatment which takes them out of the everyday habits that contribute to their addiction problem. We accept adults age 18 and older with an alcohol or other drug diagnosis, as well as dual diagnosis patients. We offer family therapy as well as lectures during the 42 days. There are extra curricular activities such as exercise, Narcotics Anonymous and Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, and social events at these meetings. The patients are interviewed prior to admittance and given a diagnosis. Providing criteria is met, they will be given a date to enter treatment. Wait time varies according to the number of patients already in treatment. We offer detox to a limited number of patients, depending on the availability of funds. The patient must be detoxed prior to entering our program.

Following primary treatment of 42 days we offer a secondary or transitional treatment program at the Stevens Center. This is after completing the primary treatment they can stay up to 90 days. They are required to obtain employment and must attend regular group therapy as well as AA/NA meetings. We provide an opportunity for job interviews and help in acquiring the job.
