Singing River Industries

Singing River Industries/Jackson County is a program that serves adult individuals with intellectual disabilities/developmental disabilities. It is our belief that all individuals are able and have the right to live independently, enjoy self-determination, make choices, contribute to society, pursue meaningful careers, and enjoy integration in the economic, political, social & cultural mainstream of American society. The purpose of the program is to assist these individuals in remaining in their homes & communities. For over 35 years, the following services have been offered under this program: Case Management, Supported Employment, Supported Living, Day Habilitation, Pre-vocational Services, Work Activity Services and the Eddie DiSanti Group Home. Additionally, Singing River Industries is funded by state and federal grants with continual contributions from the local United Way Agency.
